This cut is is traditionally used for low and slow cooking but we like it best cooked fast and hot, so it is ideal for your griddle pan or BBQ. This steak, rich with natural marbling, will hold up well to strong flavours and is perfect for your favourite marinade. Best cooked to medium rare, no more, and carved across the grain. Available in 6, 8 & 16 ounce sizes.
Store refrigerated at 5°or below. Also suitable for home freezing, please freeze on the day of delivery and defrost thoroughly before cooking.
Make an easy marinade using your favourite flavours, we like a little groundnut oil, shallots, garlic and some smoked paprika, let your steak sit in the marinade for a couple of hours covered in the fridge. Allow your meat to come to room temperature before you start cooking. Heat a griddle pan and cook the steak for roughly 5-6 minutes. let the meat rest then carve across the grain. These cooking tips are guidlines only, please ensure products are cooked through and enjoy hot before serving.
