Our fantastic family friendly offer includes a whole British Red Tractor assured chicken, weighing at least 2kg and an easy carve pork loin joint. Our pork is outdoor reared and locally sourced as often as possible, where supply allows, frequently from a farm just a few miles away. Your pork loin will come boned and tied and we can stuff it free of charge with sage and onion stuffing, just leave your request in the comments box on our check out page. 




Storage Information:

Store refrigerated at 5°or below. Also suitable for home freezing, please freeze on the day of delivery and defrost thoroughly before cooking. 


Cooking tips for pork loin:  Prepare the surface of the joint for perfect crackling. Ensure the skin is dry, use kitchen paper to dry the residual moisture. Do not cover the meat during cooking, this creates steam, softening the skin. Some people like to sprinkle a little salt on the skin, this is personal preference and gives a more savoury flavour. Cook for 30 mins per 500g + 35 mins Oven: 180°C, Fan: 160°C, Gas: Gas Mark gas 4. Ensure the juices run clear, and there is no pink meat. These cooking tips are guidlines only, please ensure products are cooked through and enjoy hot before serving.

Cooking tips for chicken: To oven cook. Preheat oven. Remove all packaging. Place in a roasting dish, brush with oil and place in oven until thoroughly cooked, the juices run clear and there is no pink meat. If the breast browns too quickly cover with foil. Stand for 10 minutes before carving. (Time 45 mins per kg plus 20 mins, Oven: 200°C, Fan: 180°C, Gas: Gas Mark gas 6) Do not reheat once cooled. These cooking tips are guidlines only, please ensure products are cooked through and enjoy hot before serving.
